1. General terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of the website puiduvennad.ee/shop (“Website”) and all purchases made through it.
By accessing the Website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
These Terms apply to all products and services offered by Puiduvennad OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”).
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The version published on the Website at the time of your order applies.
2. Use of the website
By using this Website, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, refrain from unlawful or fraudulent activities, and avoid interfering with the security or functionality of the Website. You also agree not to copy or redistribute Website content without written permission.
We may restrict or suspend access to the Website if inappropriate or harmful activity is detected.
3. Products & pricing
All prices shown on the Website are listed in euros (€) and include VAT according to Finnish regulations. Product descriptions, measurements, and availability may change without prior notice. Images may differ slightly from actual products due to natural material variations or display differences.
We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or product information before confirming an order.
4. Ordering & payment
An order becomes binding once you receive an order confirmation via email. All payments must be completed using the payment methods offered at checkout.
We may cancel an order if payment is not completed, the product is unavailable, inaccurate information was displayed at the time of purchase, or if fraudulent activity is suspected. If payment has already been made, the full amount will be refunded.
5. Delivery terms
We currently deliver only to Finland. Most large products, such as wooden structures, are delivered using a 40-ton truck. The customer must ensure that the delivery location is accessible for heavy vehicles. If direct access is not possible, the delivery will be made to the nearest accessible location agreed with the driver.
The customer is responsible for arranging offloading at the delivery site. Offloading equipment, personnel, and safe handling of the goods must be organized by the customer unless otherwise stated in the product description or order confirmation.
The delivery price includes a maximum of 60 minutes for unloading. If unloading requires additional time due to customer-related delays, difficult access, or insufficient preparation, we reserve the right to charge additional fees for the extra time required. Delivery timelines may also vary depending on weather conditions, logistics delays, and product availability.
Customers should inspect delivered products as soon as possible and report any visible damage promptly.
6. Cancellations, refunds & returns
Customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with Finnish consumer protection law, except when the product falls under legal exceptions, such as custom-made or specially produced items.
Returned products must be unused, unassembled, and in resellable condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the product was faulty or incorrectly delivered. Refunds are processed within the timeframe required by law after the returned item has been inspected. Detailed instructions can be found in our Refund & Returns Policy.
7. Warranty
Warranty terms depend on the specific product category. A detailed Warranty page is available on the Website and forms part of these Terms.
The warranty does not cover normal wear, natural behaviour of wood such as small cracks or minor dimensional changes, damage caused by improper installation, lack of maintenance, misuse, or modifications made without approval. Warranty claims must include proof of purchase and clear photographs showing the issue.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Puiduvennad OÜ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, additional expenses caused by third-party installers, delays caused by external logistics partners, or any damage that results from misuse or failure to follow installation or maintenance instructions.
Our maximum liability is limited to the total value of the order in question. These Terms do not limit rights provided to consumers under Finnish law.
9. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and Finnish data protection legislation. Information regarding the collection, processing, and storage of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. This includes how long data is retained and how customers may request access, correction, or deletion of their data.
10. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes will be resolved according to Finnish jurisdiction.
